Since 'capitalism' is going to become one of the main themes of the course from now on, I thought I would put up this video by a Cambridge professor of anthropology on Adam Smith, the thinker most associated with the development of capitalism.
I'd recommend watching the whole thing, but if you want to just skip ahead to his economic theories, skip through the first 20 minutes.
